Hazel established Bourton on the Water Day Nursery Ltd in June 2016, previous to this she managed a setting in Gloucester. Hazel has worked in 3 settings and has 18 years experience with all ages. Hazel has a BTEC ND in Childcare, DBS, Paediatric 1st aid ,1st aid at work, total communication, basic safeguarding and level 5 in Management. Hazel has two little boys of her own and devotes her time to ensuring the nursery runs smoothly and that it is an environment in which children can learn and thrive.

Bev hold a BA in Early Childhood Studies and Early Years Professional Status, she has been working in childcare since 1996, and has experience across all ages, and has been a nursery manager for the last 10 years.

Bev also holds a level 5 in business management and holds a DBS, paediatric first aid, advanced safeguarding and total communication certification.  Bev is the settings Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Bev has also completed Prevent duty, FGM, Safer Recruitment, CSE, Channel training and is constantly seeking to update her professional knowledge.

Shannon became part of the team in January 2018, she holds a level 3 diploma in health and social care/early years and has completed a level 3 early years educator course.  Shannon also has her DBS, total communication training, safeguarding and paediatric 1st aid and is a 1st aider at work. Shannon is the room leader in our pre-school room and has a lot of knowledge in Special Education Needs.

Amy Joined us in February 2022 and first began her time here as tiggers room leader. Amy was keen to have experience in another age group so is now apart of our under 2’s team. Amy is kind and bubbly, something the children respond well too. Amy is a qualfied level 3.

Gemma started working with us as supply staff in 2017 and then joined the team on a permanent basis in December 2017, Gemma was new to childcare but soon realised it was the career for her. Gemma has completed her level 2 early years educator course. Gemma holds her DBS, safeguarding certificate as well as paediatric 1st aid and total communication training.

Ange joined us in April 2023 and works as a part of our Tigger room (2-3 year olds) team. Ange is very knowledgable and thoughtful. Anges storytelling is out of this world, anyone listening to her stories becomes enchanted! Ange has her paediatric first aid training and her safegaurding.  Ange holds her level 3 in Early Years

Ann started with us in March 2022 and began in our tiggers room. Ann now works in our pre-school room and this is the perfect fit for her. The children love Ann’s calm and kind personality, and ask her never ending questions! Ann is in the process of completing  her level 2 childcare qualification.

Madii has recently joined our team, having recently moved to the area and is currently working in our under 2’s department, where she is making good bonds with the children.

Madii is currently studying her level 3 childcare and education qualification.

Madii holds a full and relevant paediatric first aid qualification and a level 2 safeguarding certficate.

Kayleigh has a passion for childcare and is holds a Level 3 in Early Years.

Paige started with us in August 2018, she has completed the level 3 Early Years Educator course. Paige is the Tigger room leader.  The little ones love Paige as she is calm, friendly and fun! Paige holds a DBS, basic safeguarding certificate, paediatric 1st aid and 1st aid at work certificate, total communication, FGM and Prevent Duty.

Shannon is a highly skilled level 3 practitioner who has a wealth of knowledge of the early years sector.

Shannon currently works three days a week in our Tigger room helping to support and develop practice to ensure best possible outcomes for the children.

Shannon is a designated Safeguarding lead and fire marshal for the setting.

Shannon holds her DBS, paediatric first aid, safeguarding and her total communication certificates.

Anna joined our team in 2024 and is currently working in our Pre-school department.

Anna holds her level 3 Early Years Educator Diploma, paediatric first aid and safeguarding qualifications.

Sue joined us in July 2021 and has lots of experience in Childcare. Sue holds a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years Sue is an enthusiastic member of staff who is keen to learn and spend time with the children. Sue holds her basic safeguarding and Paediatric first aid certificates.

Layla has recently joined our team and is studying her level 2 Early Years Educator diploma.

Layla holds full paediatric first aid and safeguarding qualifications.
